Winter League Registration 2013 Session 2


1. Information

Please read through the Winter League/General Info page for general league information.


Registration Deadline

To be included in the draft, you must register before Feb 8th, 2013, 11:59pm, before your gender's cap has been reached.


Player Caps/Wait List

The league accommodates up to 104 men and 48 women. If your gender's cap has been reached when you register, you'll register onto the wait list and won't pay yet. See Winter League Policies for info on the wait list.


Spot Splitting

Spot splitting is not permitted.


2. Registration Form

All fields are required unless otherwise noted. Email is the GMDA's only method of communication, so make sure that email from the GMDA board (gmdaboard [at] gmail [dot] com) is delivered to your inbox, and provide an email address you check regularly.

To help you answer these questions, here are the game dates for Session I:


  • February: 19th, 26th (on 2/26 game times are 7:00-8:30, 8:30-10:00)
  • March: 12th, 19th, 26th
  • April: 2nd, 9th, 16th

There are 2 game slots each night: 8pm-9:30pm & 9:30pm-11pm. On 2/26 games will begin 1 hour early. The schedule will be posted on the website before Game 1.


Each team will play 8 games. Each team will play between 3 to 5 early and late games. 4 each if it's possible.


The GMDA attendance policy states that any player with two uninformed absences will be removed from League and replaced by the next player on the wait list. Be sure to let your captain know ahead of time if you have to miss a game!

We're seeking enthusiastic captains to help League run smoothly and make sure everyone has fun! Captains get to draft their teams (draft is February 13th) and get a $37.50 (50%) session discount ($18.75 (25%) for co-captains.) For more info, see the Captaining FAQ.

3. WAIVER

By clicking this box, I acknowledge that by participating in the Ultimate Frisbee League, I will be engaging in activities that involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death. I accept responsibility for the damages resulting from such an injury. If I observe any unusual significant hazard while participating, I will remove myself from participating, and bring the hazard to the attention of a staff member of the league.

4. FORM SUBMISSION & PAYMENT

Payment must be submitted to complete registration. Cost is $75 for everyone except captains ($37.50 (50%) off for solo, $18.75 (25%) off for co-captains.) Potential captains should register and pay in full, and the GMDA will issue the discount afterward.

You can pay through PayPal, debit or credit card, or Bill Me Later. If you pay with a PayPal eCheck, your registration won't be valid until the eCheck clears. You only join the list of registrants on receipt of payment.
